As part of our movement to accelerate the implementation of local action to tackle climate change, our organization has carried out an afforestation drive at a mosque, and primary health care facility in karfi village, Kura local government in Kano state where we planted 2000 seedlings on the 25th of October, 2021. This is part of Awifca’s commitment to reducing emissions and increasing carbon sinks.
